Global Offshore Wind Infrastructure: Deployment and Operational Dynamics from Dense Sentinel-1 Time Series

Thorsten Hoeser, Felix Bachofer, Claudia Kuenzer

This paper presents a global dataset of Sentinel-1 SAR time series tracking offshore wind infrastructure deployment and operations from 2016-2025, with 15,606 time series and expert-annotated benchmarks for monitoring wind farm construction and operational dynamics. The dataset enables independent, high-resolution global monitoring of the rapidly expanding offshore wind sector.

Back into Plato's Cave: Examining Cross-modal Representational Convergence at Scale

A. Sophia Koepke, Daniil Zverev, Shiry Ginosar, Alexei A. Efros

This paper challenges the Platonic Representation Hypothesis by showing that apparent alignment between vision and language models is an artifact of small-scale evaluation. When tested at scale with millions of samples and realistic many-to-many settings, cross-modal alignment degrades substantially, suggesting different modalities learn different representations of reality.

Asset Harvester: Extracting 3D Assets from Autonomous Driving Logs for Simulation

Tianshi Cao, Jiawei Ren, Yuxuan Zhang, Jaewoo Seo +11 more

Asset Harvester converts sparse, real-world object observations from autonomous vehicle driving logs into complete 3D assets suitable for simulation. The system combines large-scale data curation, geometry-aware preprocessing, and a novel sparse-view-conditioned model (SparseViewDiT) to generate simulation-ready 3D objects from limited viewing angles.
